Vintage 1964 Elgin R-1000 10 Transistor AM Radio. Made in Japan.
No chips, cracks or dents in black plastic case that still shines. Lettering is bright and readable. Golden Grille does not have any detractors - no dents, no dimples. Shines bright. Elgin makes a nice heavy duty radio that lasts for years. This is a very clean nice display model.
The radio runs a 9 square volt battery. The radio works with loud volume across the AM band.
Radio will be packed well to arrive safely.
