This is an EXTREMELY RARE $5 bank note of the United States in Nashville. As illustrated, the corner has been ripped, but all detached parts are still present. The note will be displayed in a double-sided dollar frame. Following extensive research, this bill appears to be from the Second Bank of the United States, which was operational between 1816 and 1836. However, the exact year is extremely difficult to decipher. The note seems to indicate 1804 or 1854, but neither is plausible given the bank's operational period. Consequently, this item is being sold as-is, with no returns. The serial number B787 is visible at the top. This information may be helpful. Notably, this note was discovered alongside two other notes, dated 1820 and 1817, respectively. On the reverse side, it states 'pay the bearer' in the middle, and there are numbers located at the top left, which are unclear. Furthermore, there is cursive script below the word 'bearer' that is hard to decipher. Thank you.
