An antique American Whiting and Davis mesh purse made of minuscule and delicate chainmail. Features a classic frame ornamented with elegant impressed stylized florals, and three decorative balls hanging from the bottom. The frame opens and closes on a classic two blue glass ball kisslock. An original chain emanates from loops on each side of the frame. Holds the stamped marks Whiting and Davis and Soldered Mesh on the interior of the frame. Circa the 1920s.
