Satin lined with the gold printed Bienen Davis name inside. This Elegant 1945 vintage Bienen Davis [this brand is still sold at Bergdorf's in NYC] evening bag/handbag with cut velvet floral tapestry design in shades of green and red on black fabric with black velvet trim and velvet straps. Gold-tone chains and clasp. There are a total of three compartments - a central compartment with a kiss lock clasp and two open slide pockets on front and back wall. Floral design on both front and back. Lined with black and gold silk satin. Beautiful craftsmanship! Excellent condition. Drop from handles: 6.75” Body measures 9.25” x 7.25” x approximately 2” deep.
