These were among the earliest factory runs for Coleco, produced around 1983, right when the mass-market line launched. KT dolls are known for high-quality stitching, firm heads, and darker complexions compared to later Taiwan or China factories.
The early black Xavier Roberts signature (1983) and a “Made in Hong Kong – KT” factory tag, she represents one of the very first official CPK runs. KT dolls are cherished for their softer sculpted faces, dense yarn hair, and sturdy body construction — and this girl shows all those special qualities beautifully.
