Fenton Glass Jewelry had a "Cornerstone" large sized bead to create a focal point for ones bracelet. With their larger surface area there is a greater canvas for painting. They came in two sizes, this sunflower bead is the smaller of the two keeping its bulk down a bit while still having plenty of space for the depiction of three beautiful sunflower heads.
The enamel paint on the bead is durable and has been fused to the surface of the glass via heating to almost 1100° F creating a design that will not fade.
Beads have sterling silver cores approx. 5/8" or around 5mm hole size. Cores are stamped with the Fenton logo, USA and .925. Made in the USA prior to closure of Fenton Glass Jewelry Philadelphia manufacturing location.
