This is a beautiful hand painted porcelain covered dish featuring raised enamel purple daisies with yellow centers, green foliage, and a gold finial handle. The floral details are textured, giving the piece dimension and depth. The dish is signed Huckett on the side, a decorator known for hand painting porcelain blanks during the late Victorian and Edwardian period. The gold trim and embossed scroll designs add an elegant touch. There is a small chip on the inside of the bowl, as pointed out with the chopstick in the close-up photo, but it does not show when displayed and does not take away from the beauty of the piece.
This measures 5” tall by 5.5” in diameter.
