Antique Japanese Hand Painted Porcelain Plates Pair

A pair of antique hand painted porcelain plates from Japan featuring a ring of dancing figures. Likely from the early 1900s, at the end of the Meiji Period. The outer third of each plate is decorated with a highly detailed array of butterflies and flowers. Each plate features the same center image of a ring of figures, but there are differences between who the figures are and what they wear in each. Each has a different signature in Japanese on the bottom. Each measures 7.25" x 7.25" x 1". There is a small chip on the rim of one of them (see photo) which has been glued back into place by the previous owner, but the pair is in otherwise great condition.
